Nice coins. On my want list, but it always seems to take a back seat to something else that rears it's head.
Awesome coins, Guys and Gals! Actually Mat, I was looking at that exact one you captured. More out of interest that it had 4 heads, not that I was after Imperials... Nice job: the wonders on the eBay bucks and the need to consume them. Every quarter, I do exactly the same! LOL, and usually within a couple days or ON the day of their issuing! Nice job! Very Nice, Mat and Pish!!! I'm still missing that type but LOVE the 2 X 2 'four-head-portraits!! It seems I may be about to use my tiny ebay-bucks credit for a coin I've been after for quite a while...Wish me luck.
Yeah a good way to spend money, portraits are neat and wear is even enough to give a very nice appearence to the whole. Now I stand a bit jealous with my 3 heads... need to find a 5 heads to shut you down Q
I believe I am correct that a specimen of the coin with the most coins is currently being offered in a sale by a major US auction. We recently had a discussion where I was told that it was OK to point out coins at auction that were active. I disagree. I'm not bidding but it has a total of eight heads/busts. AMΨ
Technically, these coins have 5 heads... the little Capricorn on the Augustus/Livia side has a head too . Okay, I guess that's just cheating. But for you overachievers out there, there is in fact a variety with 5 busts. Here's an example (not mine) that shows a smaller bust of Kotys IV on the Rhoemetalces/Pythadoris side:

Never seen the 5 header, figures....neat though. Nope steve, just the empresses I need are 3 figures, each, so I move along to other affordable grabs.
