Thanks, Erin! My wish-list is full of coins at the moment but I do recall seeing a very nice sling bullet recently. Hopefully I put it on the watch list .
Nice sling bullet, I need one of those. Did somebody say artifacts? Egyptian Ushabti. 26th dynasty. 685-525 BC
Lol, thanks Alegandron. I'm a huge Star Trek TNG fan. No worries, TIF. The right one will come along. That is a really cool us ushabti, ancientone! I'd like to get one of those someday. You're spot on, Mike. I'm right there with you! Erin
Huge ORIGINAL Star Trek fan (watched them as they were released each week in the 60's), and big fan of TNG too...
Get me some home made black powder, a big bamboo shoot, and a diamond so I can show this overgrown Gecko who's at the top of the food chain in this part of the Galaxy!
LOL, I actually remember the first airing of that episode! Homemade pizza, a coke, and popcorn! Awesome Friday nites! BTW, the series is a true story, (hey, I was 8 when they started!)
Y'all are amateurs when it comes to being Star Trek fans. My parents win that prize . In addition to the usual Trekker* activities (having all episodes on a range of video recording devices; autographs and other memorabilia) they went on several Star Trek cruises, complete with meet & greets and Q & As with various cast members . Their fandom made gift-giving very easy-- just get Star Trek-related items. Here's a present I gave my mom several years go: an Enterprise pizza cutter. It's actually a fantastic pizza cutter! The cutting wheel is very large and sharp [* My parents informed me that Star Trek fans consider the term "Trekkie" derogatory; "Trekker" is the correct term ]
Wow, TIF, your parents are pro! I haven't seen too many episodes of the original, but I'd definitely like to see more. The Canadian Space Channel recently replaced TNG with Supernatural. thankfully, I have a couple of seasons on DVD to keep me going. My friend Spocked a five for me soon after Leonard Nimoy died. I carry it around in my wallet. Live long and prosper! Erin
Nice photo. Wish I had one of my folk's wedding. But here are two from our anniversaries in 2015, and 2016
A Spock $5 and a Bill Murray $5 are on my wish list. I may have to pay my son to do one. This one is from - http://manslife.manslife.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/bill-murray-bill.jpg I have a Civil War bullet, but not a Roman one. My wish list is too long. How about a different kind of Roman weight, a plumb bob?
