Does this seem expensive?

    It is a common reprocessed cent and yes that is a lot of money for one. Somebody who didn't know any better bought it.

    For comparison, my PCGS 66 cost me $22.96 including shipping. I will say that steel cents are priced very high for their population certified. I guess it is just the novelty.

    I would like to know the history of this coin being submitted to NGC/NCS.....must have been an inexperienced collector.

    I have some reprocessed cents like that laying around that have come in junk. I wish I could get $20-25 each for them....lol
