Doin' a quick drive by on the site. Figure I'd drop this little lady on ya'll for a good ol' fashioned guess the grade. 1889-CC NGC (problem free) certified. Thanks for looking.
Basically they are the SWAT of the U.S. Mint police. I have an aquantience on one of the teams who gave me the patch. Each of the US Mint SRT is comprised volunteer officers chosen from their respective facilities. Officers selected for the SRT must be highly motivated, in excellent physical condition, and successfully complete a battery of tests before being selected for the assignment. After passing an initial selection, officers are required to successfully complete a certified Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) training program. Special Response Teams train on a regular and recurring basis at each of the field facilities. The teams regularly train with other law enforcement agencies. Additionally, Special Response Teams are mobilized to different facilities for special events that occur.
She's MS61PL...on a good day. PS: But I understand it. It was in the Spring. You were young. Love was in the air. She was there. You didn't know what you were doing...
MS 62. The coin doesn't have wear. It has striations on it, but don't confuse them for damage or wear. Could very well be PL. I will hedge on that, given that pictures don't show reflectivity accurately enough.
So what you're saying is that most TSA "officers" need not apply? Cool patch BTW and thanks for teaching me about this special unit. My above comment was meant to be funny, not demean the US Mint SRT. Oh, and nice CC Morgan!
I'm still holding at 61 pl... so I win Nice coin. What's the story? Yours? How long ago? How much? Where? Etc...
Dang you posted the grade before I could guess 62PL. Needs a re-holder looks like its getting scratched. Nice coin. ++
