    Why are The incuse letters A and E filled in? Especially the letter E. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

    Die chips. Those letters are incuse which means they are raised on the die so pieces of those raised devices were chucked off. Very similar to filled D mint marks where the raised post is broken off
