I have mine in "SAFLIPS" coin holders, these are safe for long term storage, clear enough to see coins in all their splendour. I always have data labels, plus the "original' auction tags/ID. All that in :Lighthouse" binder.

Thanks, those are not the best photo formats for showing them. Basically, you need closeups.

    Nice bunch of gold!

My collection is mostly slabbed, so I opted-in for Lighthouse Trio box that holds 24 slabs (3 trays x 8 coins):

I need to purchase a few additional 'storage aids'...and I think a mix of those types posted will probably be my ultimate choice(s).

John, I would be worried about the weight. For gold coins, they will eventually bend the pages down if you keep them stored upright. You might want to look at Abifil trays. I was lucky and was able to buy a 7" Abifil case with trays at my coin club a few months back. Very high end protection for your coins.

I just spent like $70 on flips...and most of my coins are in Tupperware, a binder, and a box.

I'm using Leuchtturm trays with hard plastic casing such as this. I like the trays with variating size squares. I'm frequently changing the coins from tray to tray.
Here you see a few Kushano-Sassanian AE and some 10th-13th century Islamic coins.

Here's that mohur the way it was made. The lettering consists of broad understrokes, roots as it were, from which stems are growing up and flowers. The year 1202 is easily readable in the lower region of the coin. Arabic numerals are easy to learn.

Wow. I love looking at those gold coins and think your storage of them is great. From what I've read, flips and 2x2s are mentioned as short term storage for 3-5 yrs tops, while those hard plastic 2x2s and slabs etc are long term storage. I think they say safe and non safe (PVC) flips are shortterm but I don't understand why, since they won't harm the coins if safe. I have noticed they get kinda brittle and rip in half, which is a pain, and perhaps they let more air in than the longer term storage options. I use all types of storage methods. I've been putting my nicely toned and BU world coins in air tight capsules lately, then putting them in flips. But only my cent and five cent capsules seem to fit in the flips. I have these other flips that are a little bigger and can fit my quarter size and up capsules, but these flips can't fit in binder pages so I'm currently thinking of a better way to store and display these larger flips (I think they are the same brand you mentioned)

Think it's the company CAPS makes binder pages for Air-Tites.

I'm all for Air-Tites...but I have so many tokens I would be looking at dumping about $200 in them and ancients don't fit (not to mention I wouldn't want to encapsulate them anyway).

So flips and Tupperware it is!
