After getting a Uruguay 4 centesimos, I wanted the 40 centesimos next. Really like the heft to it.

I purchased this coin about 3 years ago, but realized recently it hadn't gotten photos yet. So, here it is. Feel free to guess the grade if you'd like. :D

1936/VS1993 India States Kutch 5 Kori (Y#67) -- King Edward VIII

Not sure what you're seeing that would make you think AU, but this coin is graded MS65 by NGC. My grade is 66 easy for the reverse, and a mid-range 65 obverse.

Not the best photos but here is my pretty much completed Aussie Penny set. I am very proud of it. Only took me two and half years to do it to!

Recently picked up some Penny's! Yes, I know one is a 1/2 Penny. I really love the Victoria era coinage.

Ok this is my lowest mintage world coin as of right now and I feel proud to own and preserve it. 1935 Panama Centesimo mintage 200,000 its hard to believe I picked this out of a world coin bowl where I live. panama1.jpg panama2.jpg

    1947 Un Balboa,
I like the obverse best, the reverse side's artwork is inferior in my mind. Minted at Philadelphia. Zoom in and see some of the nice texture of the metal. I collect few Panamanian coins, as they are not minted in Panama, nor are fully designed by Panamanians, I am not sure where the silver comes from. Still I like the heft of this coin. Minted for 3 years, 1931. '34, and 1947.

I would be worried about it coming from China.

Here's a new pickup for my Hungarian Franz Joseph I set.

Franz Joseph I & Empress Elizabeth 25th wedding anniversary
1879 Hungarian medal engraved by Friedrich Leisek
    54mm Silver 65.9g

    2143211.jpg

This medal was commissioned by the city of Budapest to celebrate Franz Joseph I & Elizabeth’s silver wedding anniversary. It was engraved by Friedrich Leisek, the chief engraver at the Vienna mint from 1868-1892. He engraved the busts of Franz Joseph I used on both Austrian and Hungarian coinage during this period, including the Austro-Hungarian 2 gulden/2 forint wedding anniversary commemorative in 1879.
