So I found this hole coin roll hunting, can't tell the date but the mintmark is a D. Is it something or nothing?

It spent a lot of time tumbling around in a dryer. If you google "dryer coin" you will see lots of examples that look like yours.

They usually get stuck in a crevise in a clothes dryer and the clothing keeps wearing away at the coin creating this effect until it un-jams or a tech finds it and removes it.

Not really. The coin bangs around and creates the effect.

Then there are the ones that get caught in the pump of the washing machine.
They stay only until they wreck it and then upon replacement we find the culprit that is responsible for the demise of the washer.

I have some friends who if you roll the nickel on a hard surface they will roll the edge over like that sometimes they would cut out the middle and make a nickel ring and I also believe it is a dryer coin I worked on them 46 years and fould lots of stuff in them
