Better photos of the cent I picked up last weekend. The reverse is a wild hunter orange color that really pops in hand. Loving this pick up at $4. It was the only toned cent in the window among about 30 or so others. This one was coming with me.

Got the grade back on this yesterday. I was pretty irritated because this coin came out of a paper flip in Florida from a very very old collection so I know the toning is good. Oh well, no matter what pcgs thinks I love the coin so I'm hanging onto it.
These 2 also came back. The toning on the 1941-d is WAY better in hand. It's fantastic. It came from an old ICG ms67 fb holder so it transfered well. The 1884 was in an ngc holder but I cracked it out to put in in a capital plastics type set. I was disappointed when it came back a grade lower than the ngc grade. I definitely think it's nicer than what they gave it.
I had a solid yellow jefferson come back from pcgs as AT that I knew toned in a littelton type album along with a yellow ike and kennedy. The ike and kennedy straight graded but they AT'd the jeff... idiots just wanted to AT one out of lot I guess. Sure, yellow us unusual for jeffs but I know how it occured. All you can do is resub it on the next go around and hope a different grader sees it as righteous
I was afraid of the same thing happening to a couple of wild toned 1961 proof coins I sent in for a friend but they clean graded. I had a sweet toned v nickel in the group too that I should have gotten Trueview on but didnt. It clean graded but only at 63. I guess it's really just alot of hit and miss.
A wild toner . This is the plate coin at CopperCoins for 1934P-1DR-004 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1934&die_id=1934p1dr004&die_state=mds toner 1934 by stoneman227, on Flickr
2 more 1967 Canadian quarters. the focus sucks so bad i know... you can kind of see the toning... and this other 1... I got them both on Ebay for $15.00 free shipping. if my ex-girlfriend comes here again i will have her take better pics with her Nikon camera with macro lens. my cheap phone sucks for coin pics details.
A nicely toned 1902 dime . It also has a repunched 9 in the date. 1902 RPD a by stoneman227, on Flickr
Hope I'm not breaking any unwritten rules here as I posted these two in the nickel post just a short time ago but they are nice toners too . I picked them at a show years ago sold as normal unc.'s unattributed for the D/S 1938 DS b by stoneman227, on Flickr 1938 DS a by stoneman227, on Flickr
Was up at the bank and snapped a couple pics with my phone of some of my favorite toners. Sorry for the crappy pictures but the coins are nice in hand.
