I have been watching the 2006 W Eagle listings on Ebay. Some are described as Z6F. I emailed one of the sellers and he said this was a mint designation. Can anyone explain what Z6F means?

I think it just means that's what the item code is from the mint. Like if you look at the Montana Quarter sets, it says:

    2007 Montana Two-Roll Set (R53)

    ie, an item code R53.

It's the U.S. Mints "item number" designation for a particular item. As an example the item number designation for the 2006 ASE proof coin is Z66 and for the 2006 American Silver Eagle Anniversary set it's A10. The coin you are talking about, the Z6F distinguishes this coin as the uncirculated coin with the "W" mint mark using a burnished die as opposed to the standard uncirculated ASE with no mint mark.

Its sure doesnt look like a PCGS holder. It looks like a PCGS label placed in an aftermarket holder. I wonder whats up with the white out on the label.

1st Strike,my foot! That's just an ordinary Silver Eagle certificate,in my view. That vendor has as much chance of getting US$100,000 for it as the Lake of Fire in Hell freezing over!

That is one of the 'special edition' labels, and yes, it is PCGS.
