What are your opinions of these guys? I know PMG and PCGS are considered the top two, but how far behind is C.G.A. Grading?

Does this graded note appear accurately graded?

I don't plan on bidding on the subject note in case you're wondering. Just using it as an example.

Perception; A way of regarding, understanding, or interpreting something; a mental impression. Perception and acceptance is everything in numismatics.

Right now, PMG and PCGS are the big dogs in paper currency grading. Their holders bring the most money at auction, and sometimes they are the only TPG's allowed at major auction houses, that and raw notes.

I recently sent 10 high value CGA graded notes to PMG for grading, and every single one came back graded exactly as CGA had graded them. I like PMG and PCGS. I also like CGA, and Superior. I trust them and if I want to submit, there is no membership fees and turnaround time is half of the other two. I know the owner (CGA), John Spinelli, and have had many conversations with him, in person and on the phone. A really nice guy, and very knowledgeable.

Learn how to grade and buy the note, not the holder. Educate yourself.

Oh, the 1934 $20 appears to be graded accurately

I buy only PMG and PCGS graded notes at this time. My preference is PMG. I remember when CGA came out and then CGC.
