1914-P Buffalo DOUBLED Obverse!!

    Hello,

    Wanted to thank everyone that contributed to my last question....found out what I needed to know. Well here is another question for everyone how rare and how much would one pay for a

    EX/AU 1914-P Buffalo DOUBLED Obverse!!

    And does anyone know how rare or not and any links to more on dbl die buffalo nic's.

    I looked on CONECA's website but didn't find a listing for a 1914 Doubled Die either obverse or reverse. It's possible that it could still be one. It might be worth sending to someone to have them take a look at it. Do you have any pictures of it that you might be able to post?

    Is the doubling limited to the date and the profile?

    Very odd.
    It looks like the Indian is one color, the rest of the coin is another color, and someone has outlined the Indians features with an ink pen.

    This looks like strike doubling to me...
