Is this $1 worth any more than $1?

I don't know much about the value or rarity of most currency errors. I have a $1 bill that appears to have been cut poorly, but every time I search for information about its uniqueness or value I can't find anything like it. Any information would help. Thanks.

That's an interesting error. I know nothing about paper money errors and thus cannot assign a value.

I have never seen one like that, kind of interesting really. I don't know anything about paper money but I would imagine it is worth more than a dollar. I would give more than a dollar if I was a collector of paper money.

Interesting you can see the rest of the b up near the 1, I don't know alot about paper money errors but don't spend it :D I'm sure someone will be around to tell you what it is.

Good question, if it were a fold-over like you find in pages of printed books, I can understand. Otherwise?

Looks like a legit error to me because of the missing part of the "6" in the serial number along with the full missing "B". Looks like its by the top right "1"

That one is, how about the one from the OP?

It is a double fold cutting error. Yes there is a premium for the error but as for how much, I wouldn't guess. It takes at least two bidders to find that number

This is true but the difference with the note by stoicfire is that it's a genuine error that made it out of the BEP. Were it made from an uncut sheet the serial would start with 99 but in this case it starts with 17.

That's a nice Double Fold Error. It explains the missing B and the top curve of the 6. Yes, it's worth more than a dollar but you're not going to get rich. Nice to find, nicer to keep. :)

    Cool error note.

Position F3, which is far right side of sheet, one note down from the top.

    I'd guess* between $100-$200

Yours is different from the OP's error. Yours is considered a type of gutter fold.. not a cutting error.

That was my first thought, too, but what has me confused is that the "4" does not appear to the left of the "1" like it does on the whole note. Why?

I was talking about the one from the OP, look at the top right serial number, its missing the "B" and part of the "6"

SteveInTampa has it right on the money. It is in pretty good shape too.

I cannot see the top of the six and most of the "B" suffix missing on the back. Green on green ink is hard to see and the top left of the photo is dark. Is it there?
