Fell in love with the die clashing on this one. I'll still be looking for a PF, but I couldn't resist this one.
Thanks. It's very cool in hand. On the reverse, you can see a clear silhouette of Ms. Liberty. It's not as clear in the pictures.
Darn fine 3CN, and I love those rainbow toned Roosies up there too Bought this one a week or 2 ago, was following the auction since inception, but figured it would go crazy at the last minute and pretty much just forgot about. Until I saw it again with 30 seconds left on the clock and no huge premium.....My first Satin proof! Love the old NGC no-line green label holder with its VERY unique "1909" cert number!!! Only 2,618 minted It has nice hints of key-lime & pink toning mainly on Lincoln's lower bust too!
It's a s clear a day....... I have one with the reverse on the obv. And you can see the lll on the obv.
Coins. Coins and coins. Coins, coins, coins and coins. We have coins. "Do you have anything else?" Yes! We have coins. Coins and coins. Coins, coins, coins and coins. This is my latest acquisition. This compendium is more than a coffee table picture book, though that must not be under-appreciated. Many's the time people here complain that modern US coinage is not what it was in their childhoods or their grandfathers' day. Indeed it is! This catalog assembles in one publication the issues of the Assay Commission, the Fine Arts Commission, and more.
