Steve looks great, could you grab a few strips of bacon and put them in a over night package, like to have some for tomorrows breakfast.:) how do you hide eggs on the frozen ground.

Well, the sweet bacon-bird was received very well by all ... but it was quite a large bird (9 kg, or 20 lbs), so we still have lots of leftover bird and trimmings for the next couple of days ...

    ... good times

Again => "please" feel free to post any photos of your Easter meals and/or fun activities over the Easter weekend (oh, and please don't forget to post an ancient coin as well => this is a serious coin site, remember?)

    Cheers, gang

gawd, sorry Eng => I didn't have time to mail the bacon to the West Coast (maybe next year, my awesome coin-friend)

Oh, and we hide our Easter eggs "indoors" up here at this time of the year (coincidentally, we take our cool two year old Godson every Sunday, so this will be a great opportunity to hide Easter eggs for the lil' fella => great times) ... his sweet Godmother has been hiding Easter eggs during his past couple of Sunday-visits leading-up to this big event when "The Bunny" actually arrives (the lil' dude is very excited ... super cute, eh? ... remember those days?)

Cheers Eng, I hope the weather is nice out there and I hope that you have a great Easter weekend

Easter is wonderful fun for the kids. When my three daughters were young, I would hide hundreds of eggs for them containing not just candy, but money (to be divided equitably after the hunt was finished) and coupons for their favorite restaurants, clothing stores, etc. 20 years later, they still remember those Easters. Maybe I should have put ancient coins in them, too!

I remember waking-up and finding a wicker-basket with a chocolate bunny and a bunch of lil' chocolate eggs (yeah, the Easter Bunny was here!!)

... but the "real" fun was boiling and then hand-colouring a dozen eggs with my older sister (Jill) => best older sister "EVER"

Ahahaha => but the final awesome game occurred after Easter turkey dinner, when we would both set-up camp at opposite ends of our amazingly long hardwood floor hallway ........ I would have my 6 painted eggs and she would have her 6 painted eggs and then the fun would begin ...

=> my egg #1 and her egg #1 would face-off ..... "one, two, three, GO" and we would both slide our eggs towards each other!! ... if they didn't make contact, then we'd catch 'em and then slid them back at each other, each time hoping that they'd collide and that our egg would be rated "the winner" (the less messed-up combatant would then advance to the "finals")

    ahahaha ... good times

And the coin : as I have no "corkscrew" coin (we are posh enough here to have actual corks and not screw tops at our bottles of wine) here's a can opener one, haha !

Our grandson enjoyed an egg hunt on Palm Sunday. He filled his basket and asked his mom for a bigger basket. She was a kill-joy said, "No." (Good for her.)
We are having ham, sweet potatoes and strawberry shortcake. Sorry no pics.
I do have one of the rose blooming outside:

Time to go see if we can find a seat for the late Easter service.
