    KM#695.1 France 1813-A 20 francs, weight-6.4516 g. mint-Paris mintage-2,798,000 .900 gold, what grade is it ?

    "FDC" covers a wide range of grades (translated to the American sheldon scale).

    What grade did PCGS call it?

    MS65. To my understanding FCD maps to anywhere from MS65-MS70. I think.

    Yes, it was slabbed as a MS-65. Some European auction firms like Kunker for example grade a slabbed MS-65 as fast stempelglanz. Most others have MS-65 as FDC. I would agree with slabbed material that was struck after 1750. For hammered coins some that are slabbed as MS-64/65 are only given an EF designation by Spink/St. James/Baldwins/CBG.fr/i-Numis/Kunker etc.
