Where are the notifications?

Since a certain 'debacle' occurred recently, I am not receiving 'notifications' of posts on 'Watched Threads' any more.
Is there a reason for this?
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Can it be 'fixed'?

They get log-jammed from time to time. There have been several such occasions in the last few years. Peter & company will get it fixed as soon as they can and then you receive all of the delayed notifications in one great gush. There have been threads in the Support and Feedback board whenever it happens. I don't see that anyone has revived an old thread about it but Peter is probably aware.

I subscribe to email notifications and each time this happens I wonder why I don't just disable email notifications, since I'm on the board daily anyway. Habit, I guess

I'm not receiving them today either-- not sure when they stopped. Yesterday?

 

I have not received any for months, despite putting a query on the support forum many months ago.

Yah, the coin-Princess is correct => for whatever reason, they stop arriving for a while and then "WHAM" you'll be getting a couple of hundred of 'em ASAP!!

I stopped receiving mine Friday evening or early Saturday morning. I reported this using the "contact us" link, but since I have not yet received a reply, I am glad to hear that it is not just my email that is affected.

 

I haven't received any email notifications since the weekend and found I really didn't miss them. Since I just did a major cleaning of my account, I used the lull to turn it off.

 

As I'm on the boards almost everyday (just as some other addicts I'm not going to name here) I disabled them some months ago and am pretty glad to get rid of them

You guys actually get email notifications? Why? That's like hundreds of pointless emails...

 

I like getting the emails so I can moniter when someone sends me a PM.

 

Currently not receiving them over the last few days. The notifications are useful if someone starts a Conversation with you or replies to an old thread you subscribe to or an active thread that you wish to stay current in the discussion, but can't be on the site regularly to see the alerts. So, not getting them, missing them and missing activity on threads and conversations due to it. Please fix.

100% => I find them useful when I log-on and see which threads are lightin' up!! ... and/or who is calling me out on one of my coin-comments!!

 

Inbox was full suddenly this morning, received everything I missed the last few days. At least it currently is working again.

Thanks my prevention towards too much emails and notifications (I just have them for private messages or JA's auctions (thank you JA, I love your auctions)), when they got fixed this morning I only received 21 of them !!!
