    Just beautiful! Love those Denarii... I see why they are among your favorites! I am not sure if I have those... uh-oh... I WANT THOSE COINS. GIVE THEM TO ME NOW!!! :)

    Like I told @ancientcoinguru , since the diameter is about the same as a denarius, but is approx twice the weight: The didrachm really feels like ONE BIG-AS denarius! It really is cool in hand!

    LOL, I finally figgered out your deer-shined bear! I meant pushing that didrachm across a bar-top or table in ANCIENT times by an ancient Roman! LOL, not today!!!

    @Alegandron and @Cucumbor, those are magnificent examples of early Roman Republican coinage! Alas, my contribution is inferior, but a coin I am still proud to own:smug:

    @ancientcoinguru Not at all inferior! It has passed through a lot of ancient hands, and REALLY has some cool stories to tell!
