I am not too familiar with error coins but I do have this one that I think may be considered an error coin. The Lincoln Penny sheath on the reverse side is impressed on the obverse in front of Abe's face Look closely and you can see the fine lines on the interior of the sheath.. The back side has a good portion of the lettering obliterated. There is a partial circular impression on the obverse that runs from about 2 o'clock to 7 o'clock. Do you think this is mint damage or post mint damage? Thanks

Looks like a vice job where 2 pennies are squeezed together in a vice or put between leather and hit with a hammer. This is pmd (post mint damage)
It's like the previous thread. If we find too many anomalies, most might merely be "run of the mill."
