I'd like to say "Tell me it isn't so", but apparently it is. Found this offering on Listia. So sad. 1 anacs bit coin.jpg

Not surprised. If PCGS can do this, anything is possible.

Sure, why not? Getting too hard to buy drugs with them - gotta find out some how to make money with them. I just can't believe ANACS lowered themselves to such a level! Must be hurting to cough up the employee payroll - LOL!!

It's a token... is it actually worth what it is in BitCoins?

I wonder if I can get them to slab an SD card if I promise it's got a Bitcoin wallet stored on it?

My point exactly. It's hard enough for them to keep up with the top two, now this?

They can't compete head to head so they need to carve out niches to stay viable like they have with varieties. That said I have a hard believing a strong market for these being slabbed will develop

I didn't even know that physical Bitcoins existed. I thought they were all electronic, so I guess I learned something new today!

I'm going to send my computer in to ANACS. I bet they'll put it in a giant slab. What do you think they'll give it? XF? AU?

You know what, I'll send my iPod to ANACS too. Maybe an SD card. Maybe I should send everything I own to ANACS.

An older computer will get a XP instead of a XF.

Call me technologically challenged if you wish, but I neither understand nor want to understand bitcoins.

All that does is prove your inherent wisdom, regardless of your level of "knowledge." Bitcoins and their digital ilk are probably dangerous to the health of the rabid anti-fiat-money types. :)

There's hundreds of digital currencies out there. It would be glorious if they all had a physical version. It would be like collecting broken bank notes only they would be tokens and maybe not broken just yet. Of course the best part is, broken alternative currency would make the status quo look so grand. So would it be ok then to collect them and maybe even get them slabbed?

At one time people paid for and collected pet rocks. What could be crazier.

Coin collecting could be crazier if you ask a pet rock collector.
