War nick and a Wheatie ender. Any chance you have a silver quarter ender too? Looks like maybe one.
You cherry picking the bank vault?

Has anyone found a flying eagle cent in BWR? or like any old dimes or nickels? I've only ever found an indian head penny and I feel like that was extraordinarily lucky.

That brownish quarter kinda looked like silver. I haven't opened it yet, but it is a possibility! Unlikely though, I'm not that lucky. I don't think I've ever even found a silver quarter.

I've definitely gotten Buffalo Nickels and Liberty Head nickels in BWR. I had one very lucky box with 4 or 5 liberty head.
It's definitely harder when the whole design of the coin is changed. Easier for people to pluck out.

I am sure at some point someone has. But as we move into the future with so many billion zincs being punched out every year and more and more wheaties and Indians being culled from existing circulation the odds continue to go down.

Yeah, but remember, Zincolns start to expire after only a few years. The billions being minted accumulate from year to year, but I'll bet they won't accumulate from decade to decade.

Box of halves and box of nickels, skunk.
I did get a proof 1960, as well as 2 lowball Kennedys - these have been selling well on eBay.

This was in my first roll of BWR nickels.

Let's see what the other 24 hold!

    Hmmm

None of the other rolls had any silver or buffalo's.

I'm pretty sure they all came from the same box? But, maybe I'm mistaken.

Between that and 20 CRWs, there were 22 pre 59 nickels.

    1 Canadian 1 Ecuadorian

And the afore-pictured 2 silver and 2 buffalo's. Not bad stats for a box. Weird that it was all centered in 1 roll haha.

I did it again posted in the wrong thread, I thought I was over here.
What what I wanted to post was a 1992-D CLOSE AM that a gentleman found while CRH. Now there are only 15 known examples of this coin. My theory is that it will not grade genuine (probably details) for a couple of reasons. A grader or grading company will not rush to authenticate this coin with a pop 15, without 100% incontrovertible proof, instead they will be looking for more reasons to disqualify it, than to qualify it. The reason I think, is because there is a slight gap between the A and the M. I am not saying it is a WIDE AM, but perhaps this is another variety in between both types. Now there are other Close AM's that allow a slight gap, but for the 1992-D Close AM (pop 15) it is my understanding that the letters MUST touch (2nd photo down of genuine example), and they are going to measure this gap microscopically and determine it's not close enough. So I would like some opinions from dealers, collectors, graders, variety experts. Is it a Close AM? Is it a new variety? Close AM.png 1992-D AM.JPG

He said the FG was far away. Looks normal to me but this is not my area.

Then that proves it,not a CAM but that's the closest call I've seen found in circulation. (if it was me I'd still keep it).

See I think there is a difference between the 92 CAM and 92-D CAM. The 92-D there are only 15 known. I think the 92 P is higher than that.
IDK, but I think on the Denver there is less room for the space and the letters
should physically be touching. You can't compare the 92 Philly CAM with the Denver. I understand that they are both using the proof reverse, but the spacing seems different to me. They didn't use the exact same dies in both locations. My photo of the Denver shows no space at all.The FG may be a marker but IDK if it's a guarantee.

Not much from my latest nickel box. 1948-S and a 2009-D. The early decade count revealed six from the 40s and seven from the 50s.
