Is this a mint error coin?

We'd like to see both sides of your coin.
With what you've shown us, yes, it's a mint error. An off center strike. (60%?) If it had a date, it would have a little more value.

I had for over 10yrs, I got it from a phone booth after my dime got stuck, after a few bangs this penny and my dime dropped

 

Sorry over 20yrs, it's got to be a 60's or higher penny as far as year, but don't have a clue

 

It looks like a post 1982, i think i see zinc showing under the copper plating.

 

Yeah looks like zinc to me.
But great find. Worth a few bucks probably.

1982 or later as the Zinc is showing but before 2009 as it's a Memorial. Off Center Strike, Mint Error. Nice, now go bang a few more phone booths and see what else pops out.
