Crusader coinage from Mytilene

    Here a my AV Zecchino ND circa 1376-96AD Mytilene issued by Giacomo Gattilusio Lord of Mytilene. The AV issues from Mytilene are all extremely rare.
    3.51 g. 24mm crude strike....but mint state john photos 1 021 (Medium).jpg john photos 1 022 (Medium).jpg

    Thanks, seems the Venetian Zecchini were imitated since they very popular in the Mediterreanean Region.
    Knights of Saint John/Rhodes and Malta, Crusader States on Chios/Mytilene/Achaia/Phocaea
