What is a ''?

This member's name is "I HATE TARDS" spelled backwards.
I get the first two words but I am not familiar with the word 'TARD".
Anyone help me please?

Thanks paddyman. I am too old for these slang names. the only one we had was 'Spiv' for someone who dressed well.
More than 5 minutes without a post. That is good.

I'd give him a few choice words if I was somehow able to contact him. Whoever that person is they seriously need to get out of their mom's basement and get a job or a girlfriend or something...

Well, since I am new, I thought it would be a good way to keep up when I am at work and what not. Normally, it has not been a problem.
