Guess I'll have to pass; my tri-state area is MN, ND, SD :( .

Huh. I didn't know they had business like this on the East Coast -- I just assumed they were California-centered, with maybe a few tiny branches here and there.

I'd be happy if it looked like they were seeking "enforcers" to clean up the category, but I'm afraid "promote the discoverability and selection of products" translates into just "move the dreck faster".

Is this a legitimate advertisement actually from Ebay?

glassdoor.com is a legitimate site so I don't doubt it is. Many large companies post openings through there.

Edit: if you're noticing the extra \ and other characters within the typing, that's a formatting issue. These things are just copy/paste/upload, and sometimes the formats don't sync perfectly.

They did away with the enforcers, so not likely to hire them back any time soon, if ever (unfortunately).

Site merchandiser can be a pretty thankless job - I don't envy whoever takes that on.

EBay has offices all over the place in the U.S. and a couple overseas. I used to run their account with Fedex a few years back. They have some pretty good bandwidth, same as google.
