Wow, the sweet ol' George-V is a pretty cool find ... congrats Sadly, it's probably only worth $5 or so, but it's still very cool, eh? The '52 nickel is in sweet shape, but is also worth around the same amount of cash (keep-on lookin'!!) .... Man, I'm jealous of your good ol' fashioned coin-hunt (good times)
1967 mint set. gorgeous toned colors on that 25 cent piece and that dime. Ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Canada...gYoFIz3k40g0OLOJBM7BA%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

ICG MS-64 Ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Canada-25-Cents-1947-MS64-ICG-KM-35-Maple-Leaf-Pink-Edge-Tone-Quarter-25c-/351087150151?rmvSB=true&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&nma=true&si=32LgM8gYoFIz3k40g0OLOJBM7BA%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc It was at $160 and the seller took my offer of $125.00. I am happy with it. I like the toning on it too.
S-Yoda => I have that baby being worth $85 Canadian (ummm, or 50 cents US) => wow, you're really a sucker for the toning, eh? (okay, then) 1947 (only 1.52 Million minted) 1947 Maple Leaf (4.39 Million minted!!) 1947 *dot* (mintage included with the Maple Leafs) Hey dawg => thanks for getting me off of my arse ... => all of these coins are very cool cheers
My 1857 Half Penny showed up the other day so i thought i'd post it, got me lookin' there's a lot of Dragon slayer coins out there, better get busy. Here's my 1857 Penny case you miss it.. new picture. Also can't forget Old Goldie, Dragon slayer..
not really a sucker. I just know what I like and want. did I say MS-64 ? it has a nice grade and toning....so the price is close to what it should be here. MS-65 in Krause catalog is $250. what grade is your 1938 ?
An MS-64 1947 Maple Leaf = $85 in the 2013 Charlton catalogue ....... an MS-64 1947 non Maple Leaf = $250 => tough break, my coin-friend (invest in the Canadian Coins Charlton catalogue) Oh, and my 1938 is an MS-62 (it was professionally graded, but I released it from it's plastic flip) ... probably not a great idea, but I absolutely hate coins in plastic prisons
