Not rare but a very popular coin. Sorry for the horrible pics...:yuck: It will stay in the bank's safety box for many yrs along with other coins.

Wow that's quite a coin. That beats my most expensive one by a pretty good margin.

Wow! That's half a year's salary for most people.

I once saw an EX-HR go on Ebay for $3mil+.

You've got my most expensive beat by a wide margin too.

I've got one but yours is a considerably high grade than mine (AU-50).

Not very rare, true, but quite tough to locate in such a lofty grade. Nice example of a very popular type DE.

Whats it worth? And what's "wire-ed" mean?

    Wire edge. PCGS says $30,000.

If that coin was the Kentucky Derby, I'd be running last.

This coin is a nice 64. In the past I have had seen quite a few MS63/64 HR Saints with deep scratches on knees, plus deep scratches on the field. IMO, the only mark that kept this coin from a 65 is on the letter "A" the word "states".

Awesome! Let me know if you need some glamour shots. HR Saints are extremely photogenic.

    Wow that's a beauty. A coin I've always liked/wanted. The only 20th c coin I'd pay 5figures for

Where did you get it and about what did you pay (you can say relative to certain guides or past sales if you don't want to get too specific). I ask only because I see a bunch up for sale in the $25-$27K range, but on this coin, each one is different and you pay what you need to get the coin YOU like.

How long were you searching for a HR Saint ?

    Congratulations on a beautiful coin.

Over 11,000 made and over half of those survived. It's the DEMAND for the coin from Saint collectors and general coin collectors that makes the price so high.

It is considered the most beautiful coin ever made for general circulation by the United States (the 1907 EHR was basically a pattern) so it attracts lots of different buyers.

I would love to get on in AU-58. If I win Powerball, then I'd look to the mid-60's MS level.:D

Thanks,I paid a fair for the coin...< CDN bid;). I bought and sold a raw AU coin back in the 90's. for like $6k. I have been searching for a 63/64 coin for the past month.

Where did you buy it ? Would you have considered online auctions, Ebay or HA, for such a pricey coin ?
