Sorry to interrupt the music thread for coins but did anyone notice bothe the above coins separated by several years have the IIII form of M on the reverse? The Gallienus has the III form of N as well but both letters on Alexander's obverse are normal. Just to keep with my favorite.
one of my favorite keyboard players keith emerson of emerson lake and plamer (70's prog rock group) died over the weekend. here they are doing a rocked out version of aaron copeland's hoedown. here are a couple of bulls that got wrangled in the hoedown.
My favorite coin in my collection is a AV Salut d'or ND Saint-Lo Mint circa 1430 English occupied France under Henry VI of Lancaster. Beautifull hammered coin in FDC quality. Favorite coin that I CANNOT AFFORD....but really want, Poland 1621 100 Dukaten Sigismind III commeration of Polish victory over Turkish Army at Battle of Chocim. Makes you want to weep! Fav. song, Wagners "Ride of the Valkryes" love doing my weights to that tune....powerfull!
Whoa, panzerman => *FOUL* (sorry coin-bro, but you must add your favourite tune as well ... just mentioning the name of the tune is pretty weak) cheers
I had no idea! I'm just sitting here, enjoying a fine frosty Carlsberg Special Brew, updating my catalog, and reflecting on my collection. Man I love coin collecting and so glad I joined the Dark Side! Jammin' this album right now... (This is not my favorite album)
What a great fricken song!! (sweet Canadian band) ... but, whoa!! ... Okay, I'll stop crankin' the tunes (thanks for posting your favs as well) Cheers
