I bought this today at the local flea market. The seller had it graded as a a Fine plus. I was just wonder what grade you would give it. I was thinking an EF. Hope the pics turn out well. Thanks fastfun1111
I got it for $50. I buy a fair amopunt of coins from this guy and he ussually offers them to me be for he puts them out. He had $40 on it but I gave him $50. If I think I am getting a good deal I ussually give him a little extra nad he is always happy and helps to keep me seeing hte coins 1st.
Wow, nobody ever gives me a bonus when I sell them a nice coin at a great price! Well, anyhow that is a nice pickup! I believe that it would go at least a VF-35 as there appears to be a little too much rub and wear on Miss Liberty's attire and on LIBERTY on the Shield. Boy, if the Obverse was as nice as the Reverse!!!!! Frank
That is a smart thing to do, I give my dealer a few extra bucks from time to time and he is always thinking of me . It's always nice to be kind to people what goes around comes around nice coin by the way. Bruce.
EF at least. WOW indeed. Nice coin. Now as to giving a dealer more than he is asking. With me they remember me for just the opposite. I never pay what they are asking and regardless of what they say or ask for a coin I always try for a lot less and even then if they agree I occationally try for a lower price. They remember me for that stuff. Not sure if that is good or bad but that is just me.
