I decided to take my Franklin's out of their plastic holders and put them into a Dansco album. I was looking at each of the coins as they have been put away for years . and found a few nice RPM's here's the 1949 S 1949 S Franklin.jpg 1949 s MM 1-crop.jpg 1949 S mm2-crop.jpg

In that ballpark.....this set was put together back in my teens. I was just interested in an unc. set as I had a circulated set. Only working part time to fund my habbit.

Good Lord!!! Out of 35 Franklins you found 4 RPM's??? WOW!!! That has to be the best percentage group of cherries that I've ever heard of!!!

Fun looking pieces and neat RPM's!!!

One more to post an 1958 D RPM 001. I found about 90% of my Mint marks in this set to be rpm's. no they aren't the best grades but I like the fact that just about every MM is a repunch. 1958 D Franklin rpm.jpg 1958 D Franklin rpm 1-crop.jpg 1958 D Franklin rpm 2-crop.jpg

No there were more than 4 like 90 % of the M/M were rpm's . I didn't want to bore posting them all. Now their in their new home and hopefully will get some color to them. :)

Don't you believe it...... I can remember the days I fall asleep on a bar stool . My friend had a warped sense of humor they would move me from Charley's West side Annapolis to Pier 7. And wake me up for last call with a bar bill.
