Common on Lincolns and has nothing to do with calling the coin circulated. It might knock it from 67 to 66, but certainly not to XF.
Ok a lot of you did well or were real close ... maybe my photos worked in this case. The obverse is very nicely colored red the reverse was a little harder to photo as the bag mark above the One. No matter how I angled the photo or looked at this coin would this bag mark be considered a major distraction although I think this and the weak Reverse Strike is what kept this coin from being a MS67. The reverse is as weak struck as the obverse is the complete opposite being a strong strike both sides have the color appearance as the obverse shows in these photos. There is a partial grease filled S in the Mint Mark and a die chip in the upper area of the 9 in @ 11:00 of the 1955. Have not found any information as to this attribute and if it would carry any premium. If anyone knows please tell me.
