Here is a half cent I picked up last year at the ANA world's fair of money. Give it your best, on the 3rd of june I'll let y'all know how I graded it.
I think just touching EF40 but it is an ugly coin and you should send it to me so I can remove it from public view
My opinion is that it is a VG45 or better. Don't let these guys say any different seems if it is theres it is a BU 65 but others it is chit. This is what I am finding out about this site. And yes my law suite is still pending. You can not slander people either here or on the INTERNET and expect to get away with it. I am just here collecting information to add to my slander suite. You coin is great wish I had it or many like it. You should be proud to own it I would. So don't pay attention to these people here as they are has bens who think they are god and try and degrade every one and there coins thinking it will make them look like some kind of god.
I think your coin is just fine not sure what you paid for it and it is none of my business but the coin apears to be VG45 to me do not let any others tell you any different.
Yes it was a joke, i would never attempt to con any one out of their coins so certain comments could be considered on the slanderous side of things. But then who am I to judge!!
Jeff, I don't know what you are talking about----you come to this forum and say that you came to answer questions that we may have...so we ask some and you get mad at us. Speedy
I put this coin at VG35-VG40. Oops those grades don't exist so how about VF35-XF40. AGS I have checked out all of your posts and this one is lacking in mastery of coin terms or a solid handle on the English Language. This is just my opinion of course. Previous posts indicated a better grasp on coin grading terms and the English Language. This is just my opinion of course. From what I see the only problem in previous posts is that people's opinions don't agree with your grading which is, as we all know, subjective (like anyone elses grading). This is just my opinion of course. This thread alone received several people's (including my own) opinion on what this coin grades. These are subjective of course. These are opinions of course. From time to time I go to coin shows. There are many "raw" coins there that dealers have graded. These are subjective and their opinions of course. If I disagree, I will tell them why I disagree. Sometimes we can meet on a common ground based on subjectivity and opinions of course. When I sell a coin I will usually assign a grade which is subjective and my opinion of course. Hopefully the potential buyer agrees with my opinion, of course. Bottom line is that we don't all agree on coin grading because, after all, it is subjective. It would certainly be "suite" if we all agreed but I don't see it happening. That's my opinion of course.
All righty then, I didn't expet this but it is what it is. AGS these postings are intended to a) show off "my precious" and share them with our friends. (Yes, I consider you all my friends in this hobby, b)let people have a chance to hone their grading skills. Leadfoot, bonedigger, and many others often post coins for us to grade and we are all appreciative of their postings so I thought I would join in. I understand that people like to joke around in this forum, this is a chance for us to good naturedly needle each other and have fun. That being said, this little gem grades in my opinion XF40. The dealer had it marked at xf45, but we chatted about this and another coin for about 1/2 an hour and I ended up picking this one up for just under $75. I think I made out quite well on this. Thanks for looking guys.
