1971 d Kennedy cud

    I go along with some of the other published specialists who call it a (minor) rim break and a cud is a major break that involves the rim and the field.

    Yes, I've seen it before, and I disagree with it. I prefer to accept the definition by Alan Herbert and that of Ken Potter who both consider this to be a rim break (minor break), not a cud (major break).

    OK.. I don't want to get into any kind of battle of error knowledgeable minds so I will stay neutral on our definition. :rolleyes:

    I have looked at different sites on this style of rim error and from just about everything I seen its a cud

    Chris do you have a link where Ken Potter discusses die breaks and cuds? I can't seem to find anywhere he discusses them
