I've never sold a coin, but if I ever do, the last place I will go to is a coin dealer. ebay is the only place I would use.
I have seen numerous coins from him where he says, for example on an MS64 coin, "We think it is undergraded and believe you will too" while asking for the substantially higher MS-65 price. If he believes that, why doesn't he resubmit it? That's a tactic used by a third-rate seller on EBay and not one of the supposed giants of the business.

That's all it would take to confirm. He even says both PCGS and anacs disagree,but he thinks otherwise.
Bottom line for a slabbed coin -- and a PCGS bigwig ought to know this -- it's what the slab says and not what you think it ought to say.
Actually, the bottom line for ANY coin--slabbed or otherwise--is what the prospective buyer and seller think of it at time of purchase regardless of what a piece of paper says. Otherwise, all PCGS MS-65 1889-O Morgan dollars (just an example) would be worth exactly the same. Julian is just as entitled to state HIS opinion of HIS coin as PCGS is. He in no way tries to cover up what the certification company said. He simply disagrees.
Disagreeing goes against the coin culture that the TPG's have set up as they would prefer to have the "final" word on what a coin grades. My experience and others experiences disagree with that culture. Even the TPG's disagree with that culture. Otherwise, why would they offer a "regrade" service? Folks need and MUST remember that the TPG's are just "grading mills" that handle thousands upon thousands of coins at a time. Mistakes are often made in such an environment and it is up to the submitter as to whether or not they wish to actively pursue a disagreement with a TPG. I've done it and others have as well.
Your screwing yourself that way I'd get multiple opinions. I've bought and sold many coins. And some rather high end ones. And I've never bought or sold any on sleaze bay
No but HIS current opinions are that basically he doesn't have a details coin in his inventory which really just makes his opinions on the ones he would be right about not worth listening too at this point. If you come to the conclusion that the grade is wrong on your own that is one thing, but the way he has gone about it has turned what should be a very valued opinion from someone with his resume into an opinion not even worth listening too
