World War I Prisoner of War Notes - A Unique History

    I have always been fascinated with POW notes issued by the various German and Austria-Hungary POW camps during the Great War. I have a series of entries over the next few months to showcase the notes that I have been collecting. If interested you may see them at the link below.

    Absolutely amazing collection of various fascinating notes. Had to bookmark it because I got so engrossed in the stuff there.

    Not only the notes but the narrative which accompanies it. bvinod1000, are these your own words or are they excerpts from a publication? They fit so well with the photographs you posted. Either way, an excellent presentation on your part. Nicely done.

    Yes, they are my own words... I have been working on building a collection of WWI and WW II POW banknotes for the past 4 years...
