Sorry, don't know ancients. The Cal fractional gold is neat. Your oregon and albany commems look very nice and above all leave those in their old pcgs holders which make them more desirable. That's a neat collection you Dad gave you; I wish mine had had more than a bunch of rolls of nickels and pennies.

You'll have to get clear images so we can see the ancients, videos arent helping me at all.

Yep video moved a little too much, not fond of NTC holders either. Of course you have what looks like a really nice start to a type collection.

Congratulations on acquiring your father's collection; the coins are nice. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to tell you that a low mintage alone does not make a coin rare, especially when the coins exist in large numbers. I tell you this because some of the other coins you included are more valuable that the "rare" or "extremely rare" pieces that you labeled with those adjectives, and you should understand their value. The coins are classic commemoratives and low mintages are not unusual. A large number of these survived in uncirculated grades.

So, your father just gave those beauties up? I guess it's not that hard to believe because I have some cousins who could get tons of great coins from their father, who inherited them from his father, but they could care less. My aunt knows I'm crazy about coins but she always maintains her husband doesn't care to trade (I just want to look at them, give advice, etc). Anyways, I have a harder time believing you found that treasure chest of coins. Sorry, I'm a skeptical guy and all this sounds fishy
