    From your images it's hard to tell ,what I can see the specimen looks cleaned. Try reposting the image. And notice where it sez full size image click on that button before you hit post reply.

    IMHO, it does looked polished/whizzed... especially the obverse.

    Looks polished but reducing/filtering lighting and white-balancing may be off too...

    Need better pics like Paddy said , but I think it was cleaned and polished . Can you see any hairlines in the fields ?

    It was dipped at least , but it's still a nice remembrance for the Columbian Expo .

    These pictures are definitely good enough to let us see the condition of the coin. It appears to have been polished (especially the obverse), and dipped. It is circulated, and probably grades AU-details. It is probably worth $15 or so.
