I got this for $19 today. I don't know much about the prices on these, did I do okay or did I overpay? @SteveInTampa

    It's a 1928B light green seal note...

I always liked the shade of green the BEP used on the lime seal notes although I don't have any as of yet!

As far as price goes, you did OK.

My collection practices are a bit different.
If I like a particular series or design, I will pass on the lower grade, inexpensive examples, save up a little more money, and buy an XF, AU, or UNC note. I did a quick search on Heritage and found a nice AU example for $47. Not a whole lot more money, with great eye appeal and original paper qualities.

I like it. I would have spent a little more but I have one. It's in a nice circulated condition. Looks like the Secretaries signature is overlapping the serial number a little.

If you only have 20$ then 47$ IS a whole lot more.

I'm not asking anyone to get a 2nd mortgage on their house, or sell their car.....just be patient, save a little more money and get the the note that is easily twice, maybe even three times nicer than the bargain note.
