    I'm looking at all the nicks on the Obverse.. I say it could be a slight hit. I outlined a area ahead of the lobe that looks like a continuation of a hit. (In my opinion :watching:)

    -The ear is the same size as a normal ear. There is no extra material. If it was a true doubled ear it would be larger than normal.

    I just made this one with a small screwdriver and a hammer..
    If I had more patience. and a smaller screwdriver, I could do a better job..

    I was trying to show how a hit can move metal to make the lower piece pull away making the ear longer. I can see your coin was hit. If you really believe in it you can send it to Coneca, or a TPGS.
