    Greetings everyone,

Long time no see, I hope you have all been well! Sorry in advance for the long post.

While I still read the forums when I can I haven’t been very active in the last few years as work and side projects have taken over my life lately. Luckily I work with Porsches so it hasn’t been too bad! For those who may be interested most recently my spare time has actually been taken up by a side project where I stuck a 480 horsepower Chevy V8 into a Porsche Boxster! :p You can check it out here if you desire… http://986forum.com/forums/show-tell-gallery/54328-boxsterls376-introduction-ls3-conversion.html

Well the reason for my post today is that I've decided to part ways with the "collectible" side of my stash and focus more on non-collectible bullion which is easier to value, manage and takes up less space in my safe! That said I have looked up some items on Ebay and other sites to get an idea on pricing, but there are a few items that I have questions on and am hoping the brain trust here can guide me in the right direction! Mostly wondering if I should just sell what I have as is or is it worth it to try and get some of these items graded first?

America the Beautiful 5oz Silver Bullion & UNC. - I was into these pretty heavy and ordered about 6 sets of the bullion coins from all the authorized suppliers and am down to my last 2 sets which are the best of the best coins I recieved. I am certain they would grade well, but I know if costs quite a bit to get these graded and I am having trouble finding values on graded ones. Is it worth it to send these in? Ungraded sets seem to go for like $900 but these are in excellent condition and think are worth more then just standard ones.
I also have about 2 sets worth of the UNC ones as well which are in excellent condition but have no clue as to what they may grade, so same question on these, are any of them worth sending in for grading or just sell them raw?

Next coins I have questions on may be better posted in the error section but here goes...

I was big into searching for the 2009 Lincoln DDR errors after discovering some in the mint rolls I had purchased and subsequently bought a lot more of them to search on Ebay. After finding out there were like 300 freaking DDR errors I know these lost some steam but I'm sure still have some value. The ones I have are the first ones discovered:
    CDDR-001
    CDDR-002
    CDDR-003
    DDO-001
    FY Die Clash

I probably have 30-50 of each of these and I would say the majority of these are MS65+ as they were all carefully unwrapped and searched with white gloves on with some being worthy of higher grades. There don't seem to be many of these out there on Ebay etc., is there any market for them? Would it be worth it to get some graded, and if so who grades these errors? NGC? ANACS? I don't think PCGS will.
What is a true value on these? On Doubledie.com they show are $50 each but doubt that's accurate, thoughts? - http://www.doubleddie.com/60701.html

Last but not least... Silver Bullet Silver Shield Medallions...
I bought into these and was one of the lucky ones who did actually recieve all of my silver. I know these have some collectible value as there are some varieties and things but is there any colelctible market for these or are they mostly just bullion? Some I have are the rarer Debt & Death and Trivium but lots of the Freedom Girl and Slave Queen ones. Looks like some go for a premium on Ebay but I don't feel like posting them 1 at a time, Silver Doctors lists a few of them at $60 each but doubt anyone is actually paying that for them. Any collectible market for these or just set aside as bullion?

I can post some pictures later if necessary.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and any help is greatly appreciated!!

As far as the hockey pucks are concerned, I think you would be wasting your money to have them graded. For one thing, the oversized slab that is needed is an additional cost of about $45 each (NGC).

    Thanks Chris!

So $45 extra means close to $100 a coin for grading? Unless they are bringing big money graded probably not worth it!!
    Thank you!

Not quite that much. It would be 41 per coin at NGC (16 modern grading fee per coin, 25 oversized holder fee per coin) plus shipping and handling. PCGS would be 36 per coin (16 modern grading fee per coin, 20 oversized holder fee per coin) plus shipping and handling.

Still pricey but not as bad as I thought... The question remain what are HQ graded pucks selling for and is it worth it to try and see how mine grade?

Anyone know the going rate for a 69 set or individual 70 coins? Not that mine are 70's but it's like playing the lotto, you never know :)

    Thanks!
