    The library also has the second largest collection of Confederate and Southern States currency in the world - numbering in the hundreds of thousands - behind only the Smithsonian. Unless they have changed the displays since the last time I was there - several years ago - there are lots of numismatic items on display. I used to own the large size nationals from Raleigh and Durham on display - traded them to a fellow Raleigh Coin Club member [and Professor at UNC] who donated them to the library. [The Raleigh Coin Club was the most intellectual coin club I ever belonged to.]

    Sure you can, all you have to do is leave a deposit equal to twice the current retail value :)
