Could you post some clearer close up pictures of it? It's tough to evaluate it with the given pictures. Welcome to the forum by the way!
Fairly common date pics are terrible. Around au as far as I can tell no idea about surfaces etc. if original $275-300
Depending on condition ("great condition" is, with all due respect, meaningless) you're looking at anywhere from scrap, or just around/under $150, and up. Reading between the lines here I would assume yours would likely bring a premium to scrap, but without photos that well represent the coin's in-hand appearance, 'tis folly to even attempt to attach an actual value to it.
I'll guess $250 - $300 (about uncirculated condition). But if it's Mint State (MS) condition, according to the latest Greysheets... MS60 is $305 MS62 is $650 MS63 is $1,100 MS64 is $2,600 My point is, it might be worth the expense to get it professionally graded (NGC or PCGS). We can help you decide -- if you can post better close-up photos.
First of all, welcome to CoinTalk. As you may have surmised, value depends on condition. In order to make a reasonable estimate at the condition (grade) of the coin, we need larger pictures. The guesses of $250-300 seem reasonable to me, assuming the coin is authentic, because it does not look uncirculated. Make no attempt to clean the coin with anything, or the value will be that of 1/8 ounce of scrap gold.
