Pattyman you're right in a sense it takes a lot more pressure to punch a hole in a 1 inch steel plate but a press is a press in the mint or in a factory the principles are the same all I'll say if you have never ran a press only by what you've read in a book well the press operators out there know what I'm talking about having to operate a press for 10 hours a day changing dies and maintenance either in the mint or a factory a press either automatic or manual is a press and has its own function unfortunately in today's society most presses are run by robots and computers even the mint presses have some updated computer technology

The problem is that if you don't read the book, you can't expect to know what you're seeing. You've already proven that you don't know the definitions of certain errors and varieties, so it's about time that you started reading the book.

I don't mind someone who disagrees when they can back up their statement. Obviously, you haven't read all of my comments or you would know that I agree with Alan Herbert's definition of a cud which happens to be the same as Ken Potter's, but not the same as BJ's. You know nothing!
