1981 D Cent DDR?

    Looks Doubled Die to me, but I didn't see it listed. The AM in America looks like MD though. 1981 D DDR (10).JPG

    Not a hub doubled die. It is what is called machine doubling.

    That's what threw me. The AM I would agree is MD, but the other areas are not flat or shelf-like as seen on typical MD. They are the same height across the letters like you would see in other DD. Would a multi-strike cause this?
