I did something like this a while back with a 65, now I'll try the opposite. Two of these coins are 65 (per PCGS), one is a 64. Which one is it? Coin 1: Coin 2 Coin 3
In my opinion, they ALL look MS 65. If one is 64, they didn't get it right, IMHO. IF I had to pick one, I would say that they graded #2 as a 64, but I don't agree.
I can say which one should be MS-64... that would be #2. Whether PCGS called it that way could be a completely different thing. 'dude
Here's the grades. I recently bought the 85, so I was wondering what people thought about it. It has some hits on the cheek, but I like the eye appeal. Also, I was wondering if it was worth trying to resubmit the 1891, it is pretty clean.
It was between 1 and 3 for me. The 3 just seemed to have a little more rub over the ear. All 3 beautiful coins.
I was at coin 1 the 91. Especially as the price bump from 64-5 is so much bigger on this coin their going to be much tougher on it. Coinfacts is at $1600 in 64 and $4900 in 65 Tho the real selling price for a 64 is around $11-1200. I sold one recent in 64 for $1075 the other 2 were released heavily in gsa hoards and are far more available in high grade. To me all 3 look like high end 64s
