    Wow Ale-G => that's a fantastic new AE Man-bull (congrats)

Oh, and congrats to the rest of the CT-bullpen for posting their outstanding examples (a lot of total winners!!)

Ummm, I have a humble, yet pretty cool man-bull example to add ...

Oh, and I also have another sweet example from Campania ...

Really neat coins! I especially like the bulls with beards.
Man Headed bull CNG.jpg like this one from CNG's archives

In Houston, we have a thing for beards on our sports teams:
Hardin.jpg if you like NBA basketball you fear this beard
dallas-keuchel.jpg if you are an American league baseball hitter, you fear this beard
gettyimages-481616476 gattis.jpg you wouldn't want to meet this beard in an alley
ryan-fitzpatrick-bad-debut.jpg no one in the NFL feared this beard when he was a Texan
Astro fans.jpg even the fans sport beards
rockets fan beard.jpg and one more
hope the beard distraction did not keep you from numismatics too long

    Nice MFBs, everyone!

I have one man-faced bull but it isn't Achelous nor is it from Neopolis.

It is my favorite coin purchased in 2015 and definitely in my overall top ten.

It is a very rare type for which I may create a thread.
I purchased it in January, 2015 at the NYINC from a Maryland dealer who represents me at European auctions. He gave me a 10% discount, although I would have been happy to pay his full asking price!

@ancientnut, I would be interested in learning more about the design of this coin, and look forward to your thread. Why was it minted? Why is there a man-faced bull on each side? Such a cool coin!
