Thoughts on this Bust half

I just recently bought a 1821 in vf-xf on E-bay for $144 with free ship. A very eye app. coin! Address: vette1986 A long time seller and ships in 5 days or so. He sells many of these. Always has several listed.

I'd go VF30. It could've been cleaned long ago, but if it was cleaned it was probably over 100 years ago. That said, I'm bad at deciding if something is cleaned of not based on pictures, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Nice coin overall!

 

I would call this coin VF details (probably VF-30). The surfaces of this coin appear unattractive, and lead me to think their are hidden problems which may be more obvious in hand. It looks like environmental damage, to me.

I would not buy this coin.
