I can see what he is talking about but it is either a hallucination, or a grease filled die (Can't tell for sure which). Either way it has no significant value.

And either way it is much to clearly visible to be a picteal.

Shades of the past. I followed Amos811's link and there was...wait for it...Teachmind! I actually miss him, a bit at least. But, honestly, I do also see the S below the 5. Faint, but there. Grease-filled die?

I see it. Haven't been collecting for long at all but I still see what your pointing out. By the way, I'm drug free so no hallucinations for me haha. It literally looks like it is coming right off the tail of the 5. Even if it isn't worth anything, I think that's a neat find. Good eyes!

I zoomed on the pic and changed the tone. May help a couple see it. The "s" is to the extreme left of the pic, touching the tail of the 5.

I see a lot of surface bubbles.

I see what you see. The "mintmark" is larger than the 5 in the date...right?

I can see what you think is an S. If you look to the South of it you can see other surface disturbances. It just happens to be S shaped. Pure coincidence. Spender.

Can you take better photos of it?

I can see what you think is a (S) however it's not a (S) that was used on Wheat Cents, its too small. Given this information what could create this small (S)? If you can not explain how the mint created it, its not an error.
