It's my other hobby. I collect passport stamps lol. I need one-per country. It's been an interesting week in the DPRK. Mind you, I have no intention of ever going back there!

I shall have to check that out! I'd heard about that South Korean film director who was kidnapped by the DPRK. It really is a crazy place - every statue, song, book, movie, painting etc is dedicated only to the Cult of the Kims. It's as though somebody gave Kim Il Sung a copy of 1984 and said "Do you think you can make this work?"

Once you're done with your one-per-country, you can start work on your Twelve Caesareas.

You are going to LOVE this book, especially on the heels of your DPRK adventure. It illustrates how that cult was developed and maintained.

There was a period of time in the 90's/2000's when we looked at setting up a Maquiladora relationship with our South Korea manufacturers and a NK free zone that was being proposed. We did not go far, so we deep-sixed the project.

Your wish just might come true sooner than you think Bing, the way things are going, they might do it if surgical removal of the regime is feasible. Different from Iraq and Afghanistan is that there would not be insurgency issue once it's done. We know China's greenlight can be bought, and nothing should get affected other than the little bit of commerce between Japan and DPRK.

China's biggest worries are a porous border, and huge population migration into Heilongjiang Province (already a lot of ethnic Koreans there), which would over-burden that economy with refugees...
