I wanted to check whether or not this is pmd or an error.

The coin's surface is really flat starting from the left side on the obverse and gradually gets bumpy as it reaches the right side.

The reverse is bumpy from left side and gradually feels flat going to the right side of the coin.

I think you need to get a book about the minting process that is written in Braille.

You know, sometimes the learning process is as easy as turning on a lamp while other times it's like building the dam that produces the energy that enables someone to turn on that lamp. The hardest part of learning is trying to convey your thoughts in a clear and concise manner so that others can grasp what you are saying.

I do believe that as long as you don't give up, you will eventually succeed, and you shouldn't let what others say deter you. With that being said, why don't we start from the beginning. First, your quarter is not a Louisiana SQ. It is a Kisatchie ATB quarter. Now, how about trying to explain what you see in this quarter that is strange to you.

No your right chris. I got a better magnifying glass and even took it to a shop and nothing. I think my main problem is that what I was using to look at the coins aren't doing me justice, but soon I will have a better 30x magnifying glass.
